About the apartment

Number Two Komurluk Apartments is a stunning duplex penthouse apartment (sleeps 4) available for holiday rentals in the small town of Kalkan, Turquoise Coast in the South West of Turkey. The apartment is located in the exclusive Komurluk area of Kalkan, and boasts unrivalled panoramic views of the Mediterranean sea, Mouse and Snake Islands and the local harbour. A car is not essential as Komurluk is easy walking distance to all the facilities in town, the harbour and local beach.

The Komurluk Apartments are all privately owned, individually designed and set into the cliffside with a lovely shared pool area overlooking the bay. The complex was originally designed as a boutique hotel before being converted into nine spacious apartments featuring antique marble flooring and stone work surfaces. The Komurluk Apartments get the sun later than most properties in Kalkan, thus ideally located for viewing the magnificent sunsets over a sundowner or two. The ever popular Palm, Zest and Denizim Beach Clubs are 5 minutes away with their free water taxi service to the harbour.

Number Two Komurluk features quirky, contemporary and spacious living space spread over two floors, with fabulous uninterrupted town, sea and harbour views from every room. Upstairs there are two spacious bedrooms accommodating 4 people (both with superb sea views), the master with a kingsize bed and a twin room with two single beds. Both have en suite marble and travertine bathrooms, safety deposit boxes, hairdryers, alarm clocks and plenty of storage space. Fresh bed linen and bathroom towels are provided. Downstairs there is a further WC/utility room housing a washing machine, iron etc and a large open plan kitchen/dining area adjacent to a comfortable lounge area with two sofas. The kitchen features fully integrated Bosch appliances, including a microwave and dishwasher. There is also free Wi-Fi, TV channels via an Amazon Firestick, a DVD player and a bluetooth speaker for music.

All rooms lead to a South West facing balcony or terrace, perfect for viewing the Mediterranean sea and the colourful Turkish sunsets. The lower floor has a larger terrace with two private sun loungers, a marble table with four chairs and an outdoor sofa to simply relax and watch the elegant Gulets glide in and out of the harbour.
